Academy Pack Phantom II released. Not everywhere.

Black Pack called officially Academy Pack was surely one of best 2015 Nike collections. Enough to say, that video showing most of the pack was one of our most viewed. It was released in limited quantities (without telling how many) and was a really cool thing to have. Not everyone managed to get them. Even we don’t have a pair of our own. Gladly it seems that will re-release the Academy Pack once in few months. With this we will sometimes get a new colorway of a model that was released in the meantime. In this case it’s off course the Hypervenom Phantom II.

When in theory this blackout (almost) collection is released for ones who lay in academies that don’t allow colorful boots, truth is that everyone seek for these colorways because of many reasons. Mostly because they are just beautiful. Despite that few of them weren't completely one-color (for example Superfly had green studs) they looked just fantastic. You could check that out in our galleries of Superfly IV, Magista Obra, Legend V or Magista Opus.

Releasing a fifth synthetic colorway of Phantom II (and sixth in total with leather one) is exciting news, especially when it’s a blackout and a true one, because there are no colorful elements in this one. Maybe Nike listened to few voices of complains about that and made their product perfect? We wrote many times about Nike newest football boot, much has also been said about the colorway itself. Many of us will want to buy these just to feel like Naymar when months back he was testing and fitting similar prototypes before the official launch.

Good that Nike has made some changes and made the color perfect, but sadly there is also something bad to say. As far as we know Nike Academy Pack re-release was limited to few markets. Or at least we know that we don’t have it in Poland and when you see some, than that means that there are sold by shops from outside of our country. Too bad that when a company leads in terms of design and innovation, it doesn’t also show a good example in not treating markets differently. Recently that was also the case with pink EvoSpeed SL and numerous times with adidas. Just do it Nike!

Hypervenom Phantom II wolf gray/orange leak

Lately we had many interesting releases and leaks of Nike boots. Most of Your attention and excitement probably got the leather pack that will be released in summer. But let's remind You, that these are only a extra to the main dish. Because the no. 1 cleat that we are looking forward from Americans is the Hypervenom Phantom II.

Today we have some new images of the boot, so it's a good opportunity to remind what will be going on in the near future, and maybe throw in some new information.  This here is the wolf grey/black/total orange that we will be seeing in a silo with similar gray and blue Magista, gray and pink Mercurial and gray and green Tiempo. Here presented with FG and AG plates.

Since first leak of this new generation and design we learned that the standard low model will be called Phinish and new dynamic-fit collar boot will take the Phantom name. You may also remember, that there will be a one-time only special release of cheaper Phatal boot, which will also have "the sock". However it wont' t be this colorway, but the black/orange one that will be the one from the leather pack.

Thing to note looking at them surely is the fact, that they aren't build the same way the known Superfly and Obra's. The outside part of the upper isn't just a layer, and it seems to be a separate part, what You can see looking near the laces. We wonder how that's made and what will be the difference when using them.

Nike Hypervenom II will be a really big thing for Nike, and Neymar is surely the one that we will see on every step we take in the cleat world. They went so far, that even one of Barcelona's training kits is made in the same style as the boots. Whole team dressed up just for one big star wearing these. We are counting days to the premiere.
