Academy Pack Phantom II released. Not everywhere.

Black Pack called officially Academy Pack was surely one of best 2015 Nike collections. Enough to say, that video showing most of the pack was one of our most viewed. It was released in limited quantities (without telling how many) and was a really cool thing to have. Not everyone managed to get them. Even we don’t have a pair of our own. Gladly it seems that will re-release the Academy Pack once in few months. With this we will sometimes get a new colorway of a model that was released in the meantime. In this case it’s off course the Hypervenom Phantom II.

When in theory this blackout (almost) collection is released for ones who lay in academies that don’t allow colorful boots, truth is that everyone seek for these colorways because of many reasons. Mostly because they are just beautiful. Despite that few of them weren't completely one-color (for example Superfly had green studs) they looked just fantastic. You could check that out in our galleries of Superfly IV, Magista Obra, Legend V or Magista Opus.

Releasing a fifth synthetic colorway of Phantom II (and sixth in total with leather one) is exciting news, especially when it’s a blackout and a true one, because there are no colorful elements in this one. Maybe Nike listened to few voices of complains about that and made their product perfect? We wrote many times about Nike newest football boot, much has also been said about the colorway itself. Many of us will want to buy these just to feel like Naymar when months back he was testing and fitting similar prototypes before the official launch.

Good that Nike has made some changes and made the color perfect, but sadly there is also something bad to say. As far as we know Nike Academy Pack re-release was limited to few markets. Or at least we know that we don’t have it in Poland and when you see some, than that means that there are sold by shops from outside of our country. Too bad that when a company leads in terms of design and innovation, it doesn’t also show a good example in not treating markets differently. BUT, we then spotted the below image of the boots on the Nike Instagram page and things changed! Under the right lighting, the effect of that fresh paint job really offers a unique stand out look that fits the timing of the release. Nike Mercurial Superfly IV Takes Speed to New Level

The modern game of soccer is faster than ever.  The players are fine-tuned to perform at high levels and their gear is designed to allow players to maximize efficiency which ultimately gives them the upper hand.  The new Nike Mercurial silo was ahead of its time when it was first unveiled in 2002 and the most recent edition to the line, Nike Mercurial Superfly IV, follows in the tradition of pushing the boundary.

Nike Releases Elastico Superfly Range

After transforming the boot of the 11-a-side game, Nike have switched focus to the smaller-sided game by releasing its most advanced Elastico yet, the Elastico Superfly.

With first the Magista Obra and then the Mercurial Superfly, Nike have arguably begun changing the way we view football boots, thanks to exciting new innovations such as the Dynamic Fit Collar and FlyKnit.

While up until now the benefits of these innovations were reserved only for those playing in the 11-a-side game, Nike have recognized the popularity of the small-sided game and have decided to bring these exciting new additions over.

This cross-over has come in the form of the Elastico Superfly, a boot that brings all of the innovation and technological benefits of the Mercurial Superfly to the court, turf or street.

The upper of the New Elastico Superfly is nearly identical to that seen on the Mercurial. The combination of FlyKnit and NikeSkin come together to create an upper that is both durable but responsive, offering a near-barefoot like feel. In fact, Nike added an extra layer of Nike Skin in certain areas to account for the increased abrasion that comes with smaller-sided games.

As the additional layer of Nike Skin is justification of, the different nature of the small-sided game means there are a few features unique to the Elastico Superfly. Leaked! Nike To Release Leather Hypervenom 2, Mercurial and Magista Boots

It's a revolution. For the first time in history, Nike will release a leather version for the Nike Hypervenom 2, Nike Mercurial Superfly, Nike Mercurial Vapor X and Nike Magista Soccer Cleats, set to be launched in Summer 2015.

Currently, Nike just offers one cutting-edge leather boot, the Nike Tiempo Legend V Football Boot. From Summer 2015, Nike will offer a wide variety of leather soccer cleats featuring technologies like the Dynamic Fit collar, ACC (All Conditions Control) and Flywire.

The new Nike Leather 2015 Soccer Cleats will feature a premium Kangaroo leather upper in the forefoot area. Kangaroo leather is the softest and most comfortable leather available, and is currently used for the Nike Tiempo Legend V and for the Adidas Adipure 11pro.

It's expected that Nike will add an additional layer of leather in the forefoot area for the Nike Magista Obra and Nike Mercurial Superfly, while the boots will still come with Flywire and a Dynamic Fit collar to make them the most advanced leather football boots ever.

The Nike Magista Opus and Nike Mercurial Vapor X will be also available as leather version to offer a cutting-edge leather boot with a traditional low-cut boot design.

The new Nike 2015 K-leather football boots will be launched in July 2015 in a leather boots pack, while there is no sign that they will be a limited edition release or remain a one-off initiative.

Update: The boots will be available in all versions including take-down models as well as turf and indoor versions. They won't be limited edition releases.

How adidas Modified the Battle Pack Nitrocharge 1.0!

As part of the Battle Pack collection, adidas released a brand new version of the Nitrocharge 1.0, although they haven’t offered many details as to why the boot was modified. Even in the release details, there is no information that reflects the omission of the protective mesh upper that wrapped around the heel of the original release or the introduction of an all new forefoot upper design.

The energy-retaining Nitrocharge boot for the next generation of footballer is currently worn by the likes of Dani Alves and Javi Martinez. It is designed for ‘The Engine’, or the player who is always running, tackling and relentlessly powering his team throughout games.

Nike Launch 2015 Women's World Cup Pack

 

Nike get the Women's World Cup party started with a three silo boot pack which will be worn by Nike contracted players when the tournament gets underway in Canada on June 6. The Mercurial Superfly IV, Magista Obra and Tiempo Legend V each receive corresponding colour-ups targeted at maximum on-pitch visibility.

Launched as a three silo pack due to a scheduled date set for the second-generation Hypervenom the Women's World Cup Pack won't just be restricted to females players as Nike will launch the collection across all sizes. The boots combine flashes of Volt yellow with a striking ‘Blue Lagoon’ color, a nod to the famous lakes of tournament host nation Canada.



Nike have also revealed the USWNT home shirt for the tournament, a simple black and white design, which is bizarrely but brilliantly all about the socks. Bright Volt hoops around the bottom of the socks will hover above intregated Dynamic Fit collar of the Magista and Superfly for a beautifully executed, fading-graphic look.

Grey / Volt Nike Elastico Superfly 14-15 Boot Unveiled

Nike today unveiled the new Grey / Black / Volt Colorway for the Nike Elastico Superfly IC Boot during the Nike Innovation Summit 2014 in Rome. The Nike Elastico Superfly IC Boot is designed for small-sided indoor games, while the Nike Elastico TF Boot is made for turf games. With the boot, Nike brings the innovations of the Mercurial Superfly Boot to the court.

    “This past summer everyone was focused on the 11-a-side game. But, players want innovation for every kind of football they play,” said Denis Dekovic Design Director, Nike Football. “We took the design insights developed with Cristiano Ronaldo for the Mercurial Superfly and brought them into the small-sided game with the Elastico Superfly.”

The new Nike Elastico 14-15 Boot Colorway is mainly dark grey (Midnight Fog) with striking volt Nikeskin elements on the upper and a unique green design created with volt yarns. The Nike Swoosh is white with a black border, while the Dynamic Fit collar is dark grey.

For the upper, Nike combines Flyknit with Nikeskin to allow a perfect ball control. Even though the upper of the 14-15 Nike Mercurial Superfly Indoor Boot is almost the same used for the Mercurial Superfly FG, the shoe features an extra layer of Nikeskin in important areas for small-sided matches.

Nike also releases the first Astro Turf version of the new Nike Elastico Superfly, made for small-sided turf games.

While the Hyper Punch Nike Elastico Superfly IC and the Laser Orange Superfly Indoor Shoe are using the same colors as the respective Superfly FG Cleat, the new Midnight Fog / Volt / Black / White Nike Elastico Superfly IC 14-15 Boot is the first own colorway of the Elastico Superfly range.

adidas released 99 gram adizero. After two years.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for. For a REALLY LONG TIME. On May 13,th 2013 we wrote about adidas prototype of 99 gram adizero. Back then this was a sensational information. Breaking the weight boundary, making a boot almost 40 gram lighter than previously known best cleat in weight terms. Impressive. Back then it looked like the product is finished or needs at least few final touches. Today we can see what the touches were and can take a look at the officially released 99gram adizero Crazylight. The look cannot be as close as we would like, and just one of few things to write about.

No doubt the boot is exciting as hell. Take a look at these images that adidas gave us. Their product looks fantastic. We can clearly see how thin is the upper. When in adizero IV we had that mesh part that gave us the sense of lightness, here we have not much more than the mesh. We have give credit for adidas - when looking just at the product, theoretically this is the best boot of 2015 so far. Price? 299 Euro

Let's take a look at what we have here. The sole is minimalistic like all that makes the newest adizero Crazylight. Small number of thin studs. One extra in the front in comparison to previous Crazylight, but only three back, like in adizero V. Really narrow in mid foot, and that means really good fit for part us. And possibility of being to narrow for the rest. But this is the only way to go. There is not much more to keep our feet comfy and the boot usable. And with the sole there is the new type of heel counter. We saw similar ones tested by pro's in their custom F50's over the years.

Upper. Can it be lighter? Now we can tell You that we know that it can, but still it's hard to imagine that. When in known speed boots upper had something to keep it stiff, here it seems that there is a cage that has a mesh to make it a upper:) Really, really crazy. Even the front part has holes in it to make it even lighter. And is this the first time, that we will get the kevlar laces? adidas showed them years back in adizero Prime prototypes, that were finally released without them. It looks, like the time has come.

All of this doesn't matter, because we have a case similar to all of adidas boots from last year, that seem to be great, but are made just to make a illusion. Primeknit FS? Sure, the first ever high-type boot showed ON IMAGES hours before we were on Magista Obra premiere in Barcelona. Standard Primeknit? Not one pair in Poland. Like all roads lead to Rome, all of these actions lead to this boot. We all can see, that adidas had this boots ready two years back. And waited with their release. Why? Who knows, but we think that they would wait longer if not the competition., that soon will release a boot that is probably better, lighter, and didn't talked about that for years. More! When we leaked them the man responsible for the boots asked us himself to take down the image!

Not only long time that we had to wait, but also limited number, and probably (SIC!) limited sizes! adidas says that "...adizero 99g is the first product drop under the umbrella of the new adidas Football "Limited Collection". Footwear items to be included in the "Limited Collection" range will be those released in super-limited quantities, which also showcase the best in adidas Football innovation and / or collaboration." So there will be more, and we can tell You know that there will be few more colorways of the 99gram boot. We like limited editions but this is taking things too far. They are nice if there is a limited colorway or spacial upper edition, but not a CLEAT MODEL as a limited thing.

Oh and at the end another thing. Because of being limited, our Polish adidas won't have them and they won't be available in any polish shop. adidas adizero Crazylight in this lightest ever version is good, but everything that is around them is bad. The real light deal in football boots world is coming, and it will be made as it should be in all aspect. Stay tuned. We will show them really soon!

Hypervenom Phantom II wolf gray/orange leak

Lately we had many interesting releases and leaks of Nike boots. Most of Your attention and excitement probably got the leather pack that will be released in summer. But let's remind You, that these are only a extra to the main dish. Because the no. 1 cleat that we are looking forward from Americans is the Hypervenom Phantom II.

Today we have some new images of the boot, so it's a good opportunity to remind what will be going on in the near future, and maybe throw in some new information.  This here is the wolf grey/black/total orange that we will be seeing in a silo with similar gray and blue Magista, gray and pink Mercurial and gray and green Tiempo. Here presented with FG and AG plates.

Since first leak of this new generation and design we learned that the standard low model will be called Phinish and new dynamic-fit collar boot will take the Phantom name. You may also remember, that there will be a one-time only special release of cheaper Phatal boot, which will also have "the sock". However it wont' t be this colorway, but the black/orange one that will be the one from the leather pack.

Thing to note looking at them surely is the fact, that they aren't build the same way the known Superfly and Obra's. The outside part of the upper isn't just a layer, and it seems to be a separate part, what You can see looking near the laces. We wonder how that's made and what will be the difference when using them.

Nike Hypervenom II will be a really big thing for Nike, and Neymar is surely the one that we will see on every step we take in the cleat world. They went so far, that even one of Barcelona's training kits is made in the same style as the boots. Whole team dressed up just for one big star wearing these. We are counting days to the premiere.

Nike Mercurial X Multicolor Boots Released

The new Nike Mercurial X Multi-Color 2015 Football Boots boast a wild multicolor upper design to stand out. Revealed on June 26, 2015, the Nike Mercurial X Proximo Multicolor Soccer Shoes feature Nike's revolutionary Flyknit technology.


Based on the Nike Mercurial X Proximo Boots, the new Nike Mercurial Proximo Multicolor features a multicolor upper with a contrasting white Swoosh and a black Dynamic Fit collar. The multicolor design is slightly similar to that of Adidas' first knitted football boot, the limited edition Adidas Samba Primeknit.


The upper of the new Nike Mercurial X Proximo Boots features a thin layer of NikeSkin for increased durability, as well as small dots on the inside and front for an improved touch and better ball control.


The Nike Mercurial X Multi-Color Indoor (IC) and Turf (TF) Boots are designed for fast small-sided football with a knitted upper and a Dynamic Fit collar for a barefoot like feel, part of the small-sided Nike Football X Collection.


The Nike Mercurial X Proximo Soccer Shoes are an exclusive release for small-sided football, as Nike won't release a Nike Mercurial Superfly Multicolor Cleat. The new Nike Mercurial X Proximo Multicolor 2015 Boots are available from June 29, 2015.

Nike Mercurial Superfly IV squadroon blue/black/volt

You didn't had to wait long to see what you were thinking about yesterday. When you looked at the "spray pack" Mercurial Vapor X you surely thought that its nice, but it would be better to check out the boot that all want the most. Superfly IV. Here it is!

Real variation name is squadron blue/black/volt and we also know that it will be released in October. One month before the CR7 colorway, so not in the same time as we predicted earlier. Off course you all know the design, but there are few things to mention regarding that exact model. Since released recently Silver Storm collection Nike started to make the flyknit collar in a slightly different way. Color is not solid, but mixed with some other shade. In this case its squadroon blue and black. With that comes the laces.

We would expect that this doesn't affect the quality, but we heard voices that this new visually redone collar feels slightly different. Is a bit rough whet we touch them with our fingers. Despite that overall performance seems to be the same. That off course is the impression from Silver Storm Superfly IV, but it should be the same in this case.

Colorway is a perfect match with a chameleon mix of blue and green and volt that is always welcomed on cleats. Visual extra is as always in the Superfly IV the sole, with beautiful carbon fiber and synthetic colored to match the upper. In this article you can also see the AG version. Too bad that studs there aren't brighter because this sole option always stood out from the ground thanks to many contrasting studs.

Last one to check out in this collection is top of Magista line, the Obra. We know that Nike is also planning some interesting NikefootballX boots that will be similar in design to these ones.

Isco Debuts Cut-Off Nike Hypervenom Phantom Boots

He definitely cut off the Dynamic Fit collar. Real Madrid midfielder Isco debuted his modified Nike Hypervenom Phantom Cleats in yesterday's pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich.

On Monday, Isco was spotted wearing his orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom II Football Boots featuring a lower Dynamic Fit collar. While the first pictures of Isco's cut-off orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom Cleats were anything but perfect, new pictures give us a closer look at Isco's modified cleats. Isco cut off almost the entire collar of the orange Nike Hypervenom Phantom Lightning Strom Pack Football Boots. Therefore, Isco's Boots are almost identical to the Nike Hypervenom Phinish Cleats, which are worn by players such as Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane.

The Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 and Nike Hypervenom Phinish Soccer Boots feature the identical upper. However, the Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boot features a tongue-less design, while the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 has the Dynamic Fit collar instead of a traditional tongue.

Most remarkably, Isco's modified Nike Hypervenom Phantom Boots can be distinguished between the sole plate designs. The Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boots boast a striking graphic pattern, whereas the sole plate of the regular low-cut Nike Hypervenom Phinish is solid orange.

Compared to Cristiano Ronaldo's custom Nike Mercurial Superfly Boots featuring a lower Dynamic Fit collar, Isco's modified Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Soccer Boots feature almost no collar.

adidas unveil the ACE15 Eskolaite for the elegant playmaker

The elegant and poised playmaker. We can definitely think of a few professional players, who fit this description very adequately, but this type of player exists on all levels. adidas have identified the two types of players that can be found in the modern game and for the controlling player, they have the Adidas ACE15.


The Ace15 is now on its fourth colourway and thus far I must admit I’ve much prefered the X’s colourways. The slightly fresher blue model was definitely a step up in style and also a little more lively than the previous models, which were mostly black. Now adidas go completely wild, with a colourway that is out to grab everyone's attention in a big way.



The adidas Eskolaite pack introduces new boots for both their boots, which both are made with a flashy silver design and with a splash of neon on the heel and soleplate. It’s definitely not everyone, but I could definitely see the Ace15 working on the pitch, as the players look to dazzle opponents with untouchable playmaking.


The La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A are close to starting up again, so you can really start looking forward to seeing James Rodriguez, Ivan Rakitic and Manuel Neuer in the new boots and quite honestly if it’s good enough for an impressive line-up like that, it’s good enough for me.


Say what you like about the colourway, but it’s certainly flashy. This isn’t for the player who wants to go under the radar, you take control and you run the play for your team. What do you think about the new Ace15 - Is it love at first sight, or are you a little more tentative?
